Rasberry's House of Hope, Inc. - A place of hope & healing for hurting teenage girls

Wish List

We serve our communities youngest in their time of greatest need, when their own biological families, for whatever reason, cannot care for them. We believe that every child, no matter what the circumstance at least deseves the basics...food, clothing, shelter, a quality education, a safe environment, and then some. Period.

The tasks are great yet we believe God is even greater. Together we can help children have a better life. We can lift them up. We can let them know that the abuse they encountered was not their fault. We can speak favor over their lives. We can love them unconditionally.

The issues many teen girls face on a daily basis are shocking - abuse, neglect, abandonment, violence, homelessness, and more. Rasberry's House of Hope, Inc., needs your help to heal the emotional and physical scars that our girls suffer.

They need caring individuals, community leaders, philanthopists, donors, corporations, businesses, civic groups and religious organizations to care. You can change the life of these girls by investing in their future today. It is an investment that benefits the entire community.

Physical, emotional and sexual abuse occurs at every socio-economic level, across all ethnic and cultural lines, within all religions, and at all levels of education. We've seen it, felt it, smelt it, and consequently, we relive it everyday with the population we serve.

We've shed many tears alongside our girls, trying desperately to keep them from slipping into a dark place where they flatline, become emotionless, feel hopeless, think life is over, and ultimately feel no one cares. We stand by them in their time of need, trying to keep them hopeful and encouraged, though the world has treated them otherwise.

Despite their chatoic and troubled past, we ask that you keep giving and keep caring. It is your support that enables them to see that there are individuals who care, and who have no motives other than to sow into their lives a seed of hope.

Thanks in advance for assisting Rasberry's House of Hope, Inc. Giving is such a noble and thankful act. We appreciate your kindness in advance.

There are countless stories we can tell of how girls who passed through Rasberry's House of Hope, Inc., are now in college, working stable jobs, have families of their own, and are cataputling their lives to the next level. This makes us proud! All we want to do is eradicate the abuse and assist girls in arriving safely at their desired destination.

Please give today. The rewards are extraordinary. When a girl grows up and takes responsibility for her own life, relying on advocacy, prevention, spiritual guidance, education, treatment, and outreach, we all win.

We are blessed and eternally grateful for whatever you can do for them. We use every dollar and every gift to make their lives better.

In just a few short years, we are out of space, while receiving constant calls to take in more girls. That is exactly what we wanted, yet, we are crushed when we have to turn girls away due to space limitations. We do not ever want to leave a girl out in the cold to fend for herself, when she desperately needs a place to live, thrive and grow. With your help we will be able to expand. And with God's help all things are possible.

"Rasberry's House of Hope Inc., is dedicated in memory of my sister, Marilyn J. Rasberry, who lost her life in 1999, and whose inability to refrain from toxic and abusive relationships, resulted in her demise, and to my loving father, Joe Louis Rasberry Sr., who lost his battle with cancer in 2007, but while living, opened up our home and made it a safe haven to family and friends who found themselves in trouble. It still amazes me how my parents never turned anyone away. They always allowed room for others to have a soft place to fall."
